The position:

Solidus Labs is seeking a Marketing Events Manager to join our team. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record of planning and executing events of all types and sizes, both offline and online—from executive roundtables to mid-scale conferences and summits (~250 guests). These events should ultimately build the sales pipeline, create awareness of the Solidus’ brand, products, and generate demand.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects, think on their feet and communicate effectively with C-level executives both internally and externally. The role is based in the New York vicinity, reporting to our Vice President of Marketing while working closely with our Sales, Design and Regulatory Affairs teams to contribute to the development and evolution of a fast growing company changing the financial industry’s landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop and manage Solidus Labs’ events marketing programs that span from our DACOM flagship event series - large scale and high-profile live events, through global 3rd party events, to webinars and podcasts aimed to drive top of funnel engagement, and mid/bottom of funnel networking events to drive pipeline acceleration.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and design teams to develop and execute innovative branded programs.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of each event (e.g. agenda, timelines, venues, suppliers, giveaways, staffing, budgets).
  • Provide support for on-site Solidus reps; handle logistical tasks including shipments, registrations, team prep, on-site setup, etc.
  • Proactively manage budget; track and evaluate results against goals and identify learnings for improvement
  • Conduct post-event wrap up and analysis. Onsite event execution as required.
Required skills
  • 3+ years B2B event management experience, including hosted events and virtual events/webinars
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end event program production from conception to completion, including third-party and supplier management, booth design, branding, logistics, AV requirements, webinar platforms, demo setup, audience acquisition, sales engagement, and follow-up
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to successfully manage and execute multiple projects with varying priorities and stakeholders
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator (both verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of collaborating with B2B sales organizations to build and deliver results
  • Ability to consistently set and meet tight deadlines
  • Creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • A background in crypto, finance or payments - is a huge plus.
  • NYC-vicinity based.
